Project Manager Aranıyor

We require a project manager to take up a role on project in Turkey. The project manager shall report to the on-site Project Director and shall take on responsibility for the procurement and construction of several aspects of the project. The candidate should have demonstrable experience of undertaking the role of project manager on previous hotel and resort projects. The requirements for the candidate are set out as below:
- Day to day lead point of contact for the client on site
- Establish key relationships with the client and other key stakeholders.
- Develop team working ethos with client with detailed definition of roles and procedures.
- Undertake strategic programming
- Continually review the risk management analysis and manage that all significant project risks are registered, allocated to owners and that appropriate control measures are in place.
- Prepare detailed project plan.
- Set up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues, which may arise.
- Set up and implement an integrated communication, monitoring and reporting system with feedback for early resolution of problems and identification of opportunities.
- Provide change control procedure to maximum added value and minimize disruption to the project.
- Identify critical success factors and KPI’s and feedback into monitoring and reporting systems
- Endeavour, wherever possible, to resolve difficulties in non-adversarial manner.
- Set up and chair regular site progress meetings and report on weekly project progress.
- Manage that project programme is kept up to date.
- Responsible for day to day interaction with the Contractor and representing Mace at site based meetings

- Management & co-ordination of all Mace team activities as set out below; M&E Manager / Design manager / Quality Manager / Compliance Manager / Document control
- Organisation of and chairing weekly progress & quality meetings

Duties & Responsibilities (generally):
- Responsible for the delivery and design supervision of all Electrical packages of works on a resort hotel scheme
- Working closely with the client, consultants and main contractors from pre-construction, through delivery on site to commissioning and handover to the hotel operators
- Review overall project status with the Project Management, Project Controls and Commercial teams and recommend corrective action where necessary
Duties & Responsibilities (specifically):
- Maintain knowledge of the overall construction processes and operating practices related to Electrical disciplines and ensure awareness of the suppliers and sub-contractors in the market.
- Review and comment on Tender Documents (from an Electrical view) including Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, queries and the like.

- Assist the Project Director in preparing periodical reports and other reports with specific responsibility for preparation of those sections of project management reports related to the Electrical works.
- Review, Participate & Assist the Project Team in value engineering exercises & in selecting proper constructability methods based on safe design and functionality.
- Assist in processing payment applications and advise your Project Director & Commercial team of technical issues needed for variations, disputes, workmanship, work quality… etc.
- Assist your Project Team by providing knowledge of the prevailing Electrical codes of practice, regulations, and specifications for the construction industry.
- Interface/coordinate logistics & quality assurance with Project Team Companies.
- Lead and minute scheduled Electrical design & progress meetings and attend all periodic project progress & technical meetings held with all relevant parties.
- Monitor and periodically report on Electrical design, installation and procurement progress
- Review & comment on progress & other reports submitted by project parties.
- Assist Project Team in following up with the Authorities to speed up the approval process and utility supplies
- Monitor site inspection plans and approval process, and participate in the testing and commissioning process in coordination with the project leaders. Lead the coordination of Electrical commissioning activities with the Client, Engineering Department, Contractor and Design and Commissioning Engineers
- Monitor the preparation of Electrical record drawings and operating and maintenance manuals and propose corrective action to ensure these documents are fit for purpose prior to Project Handover
The Requirements
Qualifications/Experience required
Candidate must have:
- BSc Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree.
- Native Turkish Speaker and Excellent written and spoken English.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience, the last 5 of which are in a MEP management position or Electrical position
- A proven ability to review Electrical designs in a thorough manner to ensure that Electrical systems perform in accordance with Client and associated engineering briefs.
- An ability to work effectively within a team and to interface independently with equivalent Client and Contractor counterparts
- Ability to execute full scope of job description on standalone basis with limited support from the Project Director

Scheduler Aranıyor
SCHEDULER
Turkey is a key market for Statkraft in hydropower generation and wholesale power trading. Statkraft has Hydro Power Plants already under construction as well as under operation.
We are now looking for a Scheduler to work in the construction team in Cetin Hydro Power Plant in Şirvan, Siirt. The Scheduler will report to the Project Controls Manager. The position is based at site.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the position is to ensure that project construction schedules are developed with high quality such that controlled and predictable on-time project delivery is achieved. In order to achieve this goal it will be necessary to work closely with the teams performing technical, permitting, environmental, social program and other planning teams; to ensure that Statkraft IH WBS template is utilized; to ensure ownership by project team to the schedules; to ensure that project team performs high quality schedule analysis, forecasting and re-baselining as required.
KEY TASKS
Implement high-quality project construction schedules
Take on direct assignment on project site to ensure that:
Statkraft’s methodologies and structure are adopted in the development of specific schedules
Schedules are robust and reflect the planned technology, execution strategy, detailed execution methodologies, permit and land acquisition requirements and social programs as relevant.
Ensure that the ownership and responsibility to achieve the planned activities of the schedule is distributed to the responsible members of the project organization.
Ensure required reporting requirements are met.
Ensure that appropriate analysis of data affecting the schedule and schedule analysis are performed such up to date forecasts and sensitivities are provided.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Higher education within Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
Higher education or training in scheduling.
Professional experience:
More than 2 years’ experience of planning and project controls of large scale civil construction (motorway, hydropower, tunnel etc..) and / or energy sector projects.
Experience from one or several of the following areas would be beneficial: Project management, international work / assignment, hydro power design / construction, civil construction or contracting.
Other skills :
Excellent at structuring and systemizing information
Experience in MS Project or Primavera
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player abilities
Fluent in English & Turkish
Knowledge of other languages advantageous

Project Engineer Aranıyor
PROJECT ENGINEER
Turkey is a key market for Statkraft in hydropower generation and wholesale power trading. Statkraft has Hydro Power Plants already under construction as well as under operation.
We are now looking for a Project Engineer to work in the construction team in Cetin Hydro Power Plant in Şirvan, Siirt. Project Engineer will work under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and/or Technical Manager.
Job Requirements:
- University diploma
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in similar positions
- Ability to think analytically and ability to make research
- Good knowledge of the Turkish and English languages, both written and verbal
- Team player and good service-minded personality
- Strong verbal, written, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office, ACAD, etc..
- Be able to reside at site.
Key Tasks:
- Coordination between various departments for engineering and design issues.
- Follow up engineering and day to day design issues at site.
- Assist Engineering Manager for day to day follow up with Design Consultants.
- Track the delivery of design documents as per the programme
- Review of temporary work designs and approvals.
- Attend meetings and arrange minutes of meetings when required and tracking the actions from the meetings.
- Handling and distribution of approving drawings for construction.
- Coordinate and assist the review of Method Statements, ITPs, etc.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Bill of Quantities with other departments
- Coordination and control of e-room activities and document control of the project
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly
- Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
- Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
